Born Jo-Raquel Tejada, she was a divorced mother-of-two before coming back to California to gain her initial acting charge. Her breakthrough film, One Million Years B.C., in 1966, made her an international sex symbol. Welch further earned a Golden Globe and released her memoir in 2010.
